The Challenge: Scale & Data
While most online stores operate with a few hundred products, the Metamix project required the creation of a heavy-duty e-commerce platform capable of flawlessly processing and rendering over 10,000 unique items (screws, brackets, industrial hardware, etc.).
Each product line features dozens of technical variations (sizes, coatings, lengths). The challenge was to build an architecture that wouldn't "break" under the weight of the database and would provide instant search and filtering for the end customer.
Design & Identity
In the B2B/Industrial sector, functionality trumps aggressive design. Therefore, we opted for an ultra-clean palette: classic white for maximum contrast in product photography, solid black for readability, and a subtle corporate red accent drawn from the brand's logo.
The Comprehensive Solution
The project is built on a highly modified version of WooCommerce. We integrated custom caching systems and query optimizations, allowing the server to load pages in fractions of a second despite the massive data volume.
We built order processing logic that tracks the full lifecycle (from cart to completion). The project also includes long-term monthly maintenance of both the website and the digital warehouse, alongside continuous SEO optimization for industrial keywords.
